Sept 2005: I've found
a Kyosho Pajero electric version on June on Ebay.
My project was to lock all 3 diffs to use it in hard off road. Since
I didn't want the fear of breaking hard to find parts such as gears,
I began to rebuild some of them using easy to find parts. I found that
diff gear from a Tamiya TG10 could work in both front/rear diff with
a little trimming. I had to build a spur adapter first.
One weak point was rear axle, easy to break. This one came already broken...

...so I made a brass tube to fit inside of it as a reinforcement. |

Next I made a spur gear adapter |

Nothing comes good at first! I had to make 3 of them to have the correct
one.
I then made a similar one for front gearbox. |

I used original shafts, but they were not a centered work, so I had
to make a one piece shaft next. |
This is the central diff to be rebuilt. |

And this all parts I made with a common pulley installed. |

The central unit |

The rear axle all made from brass. |

Here you can see the truck ready for first run. I used Traxxas Stampede
sliders and Priline Dirt Hawg tires. They were too large, but narrowing
them was a planned work to do. |

My first test run was disappointing: rear bevel/spur mesh was not good
and I've damaged the spur. I decided to reinstall original diff on back. |

Dec 2005: Narrowed tires and wheels. Look is better now, still
have to run it. |
